What the Volunteers Have to Say

The newest addition to the Chobi Mela team only arrived on 21 January. Croatian photographer Siniša Glogoški shares his feelings with us about the festival that is going to start in only a couple of hours.

“The energy here is amazing!!  I arrived a few days ago and the excitement is just getting bigger. The team is very organised, everyone has their own assignments and the festival is going to be spectacular. I left cold, snow-covered Croatia to visit the Chobi Mela VII Festival .  It is my first time in Bangladesh and I am enjoying the beautiful warm weather, the generous hospitality of the people and I even like the crazy traffic jams and  thousands of rickshaws everywhere.  The crowded Dhaka has a certain charm that I’m just starting to explore. A bit more than three hours until the traditional Chobi Mela Rally starts. Join us at the Bangladesh National Museum at 3:30 PM!

And just to remind you again, if you can’t make it to Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy join us at the opening ceremony via live streaming. The event starts at 5PM.
